BEACHES

Just on the Northern side of the Brunswick River is where you will find our pristine beaches,stretching north to Wooyung and south to Brunswick Heads. During the Christmas period the Brunswick Heads Surf Club patrols the beach.

There’s nothing more refreshing than a walk in the soft white sand enjoying the surrounds with an abundanance of wildlife such as sea birds and dolphins. In winter you can experience the annual migration of the humpback whales. Dogs on leashes are allowed in the dog walking areas along the beach. You can obtain your fishing licence locally, which outlines the areas you are able to fish in. Surfing, canoeing, kite flying are also popular.

BUSHWALKING & BIKE TRACKS

There is a bike track which runs from New Brighton to South Golden Beach and an overpass track to Billinudgel. There are various National Parks around for bush walking.
